Continuing upstream from Panther Falls, the tranquil sound of Angel Falls tumbling down fills the narrowing gorge complimenting the sounds of Mother Nature's symphony.

Panther Falls - Northern Georgia
Panther Falls is the first of the two waterfalls along the Angel Falls Trail near the Tallulah Gorge area in Rabun County, Georgia. A pretty easy trail to take for a good day hike through the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. I went up to this area over the Memorial Day weekend and it was refreshing to stand in the mist of the tumbling falls as the heat of the Georgia summer set in!
Life was springing up out of the ground as the streams gushed with the mountain run off.
