Log Cabin Life - Callaway Plantation, Washington, Georgia

Providing one of the most basic essentials on the old American Frontier, this log cabin is a replica to what the young Callaway family would have built during Colonial America in the Creek Indian Territory and vanishing spokes to what was the frontier utility vehicle.

What this tool to the left was used for I have not the slightest idea!  My best thought would be a one-swing meat tenderizer or that ultimate threat of a spanking paddle! I know I would not misbehave with that hanging on the wall.
