I have eaten some delicious traditional Indian food in my day, but the Taste of India in Athens has set the bar! A friend and I quite literally stayed til the restaurant closed because we wanted to eat every single bite from our fulfilling 3 course meal! The restaurant itself is spacious and beautifully decorated with simple ornaments of India and with the warm welcoming any visitor gets when they step inside from the family adds more to the enjoyable experience! I asked and tried prying to get the secret 'ingredient' to the Indian Tea but they would not budge! The mother simply told me that it was made with 'spices' and that if I wanted more, I would just have to come back! That I have no qualms about!
