Stumbling upon this polyandrium just outside of the city limits of Louisville shaded by Spanish moss covered trees, I had to explore! When I first read the sign I thought to myself that were would be at most a dozen headstones from the time of the Revoluationary War remaining, but to my surprise, there were about three times as many possibly original slabs. Naturally, some had been replaced with more legible etchings and epitaphs or broken and sometimes lost stones in this historic American resting place for her patriots.
Keep in touch with Trevor as he makes his way across the world and read his story as each step is made!!!
